Programs for Parents
The MinerFest Family Connection is a program for parents during Homecoming Weekend, Saturday, October 28, 2017 in the Havener Center, St. Pat's Ballroom at 9:30 a.m. We invite you to help yourself to light refreshments and hear the latest about campus happenings before the parade at 10:45 a.m. We will also provide parents and families with important information about services available to promote academic and professional success of students. Staff members from various Student Affairs departments will be available to answer questions. There is no cost for this event. During move-in weekend, parents of new Missouri S&T students are welcome to participate in Miner Adjustment. This open session is a presentation about the transition and adjustment to college life and an overview of many of the programs and services available to help students get involved and succeed during their time here. You may also take a short bus tour of the Rolla area. Miner Adjustment will take place in the Havener Center Atrium and dining room (Missouri S&T's student union) on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m
