Great News!  New events have been added, turning this into a wonderful Fall Welcome Weekend, beginning with the Missouri S&T New Student Convocation and Autumnal Equinox Celebration on Thursday, and ending with the Missouri S&T Wind Symphony Concert on Sunday.

Parents and families are welcome to attend these special events!

5:00 - 9:00pm - Missouri S&T Equinox and Wellness Fair @ Gale Bullman Building, (Moved indoors - please use the doors on the south side of Gale Bullman next to the S&T Fitness Center.)  

5:30 - 7:00pm - Missouri S&T New Student Convocation @ Gale Bullman Building, Gibson Arena.  For those who cannot attend, a livestream option will be available on the S&T Facebook page and on Zoom.

6:45 - 8:00pm - Free food to 2000 people

7:45 - 8:03pm - Equinox Celebration with Fireworks Display

Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, Popcorn

30 booths about academic well-being; social well-being; mental well-being and community well-being with swag, drawings and prizes, decorate frisbees, play games and make your wellness stickers.  Visit with Joe Miner, play a game, find a new club to join or intramural sport, talk with the college deans or departments, learn about the Holocaust Exhibit, or where to chill and get help with your studies.

10:00am - 2:00pm - University Police and Parking Open House. You are invited to attend and tour the department @ 205 W. 12th Street.

1:00 - 5:00pm - Mining and Explosives Engineering will host tours of the Experimental Mine and explosives demonstrations, with tours leaving at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm.  This event is full.  (Registered participants will receive an email with additional information.)

2:00 - 2:50pm | 3:00 - 3:50 pm - Study Abroad and Global Engineering Informational Sessions hosted by Dr. Michel Gueldry, Faculty Fellow, Office of International Affairs, and Director of Global Engineering Program @ 204 McNutt Hall.

4:00 - 6:00pm - St. Pat's Board Night at Kokomo Joes.  Hosted by the St. Pat's Board, come join the board and play some games at Kokomo Joes.  Wear a St. Pat's sweatshirt if you have one.  Discounted prices:  3 Go Karts - $20, Mini Golf - $6.50/18 hole game, Batting Cages - $4/3 tokens. @ Kokomo Joes, 10450 State Rt. 6:00pm - Missouri S&T Miners Women's Volleyball vs. William Jewell @ Gibson Arena (Ticket prices range from $8 - $4. Purchase tickets here.)

7:00pm - Show Tune Cabaret by the S&T Student Theatre Program @ The Puck. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a night of music under the stars! BBQ selections will be available for purchase by Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma.

8:30 - 10:30am - Welcome Breakfast for Parents and Families with Resource Fair (Open House style) @ The Havener Center, St. Pat's Ballroom. (This event is only open to Family Pass holders.)

11:00am - Celebration of Nations Parade with VIP Viewing Area for Parents and Families located on lawn area to the side of Norwood Hall along 12th Street.

12:00 - 4:00pm - Celebration of Nations Live Music and Entertainment, International Food and Craft Vendors, Cultural Displays, Camel Rides, Kids Korner, and Family Activities @ the Rolla Bandshell (E. 9th Street).  See the full schedule here.

          2:30pm - Celebrate Fashion

          3:00pm - Celebrate Talent (SLU Raas Bollywood Dancers, St. Louis Chinese Traditional Music Ensemble, New Dance Academy, World's Finest Rolla German Band, Shamrock Irish Dancers)

3:00pm - Missouri S&T Miners Women's Volleyball vs. Rockhurst @ Gibson Arena (Ticket prices range from $8 - $4. S&T Students, Staff and Faculty are free. Purchase tickets here.)

6:00pm - S&T Miners Football Game vs. Hillsdale College @ Jackling Field at Allgood-Bailey Stadium (Ticket prices range from $10 - $6, S&T Students, Staff and Faculty are free. Purchase tickets here.)

9:00 am - 1:00pm - Dine with your student @ Thomas Jefferson Dining Hall (All you can eat! $10.20 plus tax per person, pay at TJ Dining Hall, card only.)

2:00pm - Missouri S&T Wind Symphony Concert @ Leach Theatre (Tickets are $5.00 for Adults, Youth ages 18 and under are free.  S&T Students are free with valid ID card. Purchase tickets here.)

Americans and the Holocausta traveling exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washinginton D.C., will be on display from September 18 through October 22 at the Curtis Laws Wilson Library on the campus of Missouri S&T, and will be available for viewing during the following hours:

  • Friday, September 23, 7:30 am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday, September 24, 12:00 - 5:00pm
  • Sunday, September 25, 12:00 - 8:00pm

Broken Oak Fall Market on the Farm, an open-air vintage and handmade market, will feature vendors, food trucks, live music, and plenty of fall vibes. Located at 15751 State Route F, Rolla.

  • Friday, September 23, 3:00pm - 7:30pm ($10 Admission, Kids are Free)
  • Saturday, September 24, 9:30am - 2:00pm ($5 Admission, Kids are Free)
